HDMI over Analog or other connections

Hi Folks, I have recently purchased a Sony XA5400ES CDP and will connect to a Cambridge 840E pre amp. My question is what connection will provide highest 2 channel audio quality? HDMI, RCA, XLR, Optical Out, Coaxia Digital..?

Inputs: 8 pairs gold plated RCA stereo phono inputs

Audio Outputs: 2 pairs gold plated RCA stereo phono outputs 1 pair XLR balanced outputs

Dont see anything about HDMI....
