Ground / drain wire?

Hello all,
Just a quick question. I have a pair of synergistic research alpha x2 interconnects. I got them from someone who cut the rca's off to use elsewhere. I noticed that there is a ground/drain wire within the cable. I am going to re terminate these cables. Question is, which end does the drain wire get soldered to the rca and which end gets left off?
Thanks

Thank you Brf,
That seemed the logical choice, but I was looking for confirmation.
Thanks,
Skipper
I've installed many instruments and measuring devices along natural gas pipelines. Any standard used in the industry that I have seen has the drain connected at the source only to drain any noise or stray current away from equip.
