For the owners of NAD M25, what was your next step, if any?

Having had NAD for decades, I always had some of the gear in one of my systems. When I retired my Krell HTS/KAV1500 combo for the home theater, I gladly switched back to NAD with the M15/M25 combo.
Everything still works fine but I tend to plan ahead so for the owners of M25 that moved on, which multi channel amp did you deploy and was it much better?
Any one has have their M25 modded?

No comments? Even during the holiday period so I assume it is not that easy or obvious to find a worthy successor without paying much more.

Now I am thinking to give it to a local mod shop to improve the performance of at least two channels so I can enjoy more music in the home theater.
