You could do a lot worse if you wanted blue tooth active self powered speakers for somewhere.
My ex bought a pair based on an audiogon recommendation I read and it was spot on.

I bought a pair to use with my TV instead of a soundbar. Ironically, the best deal was at Home Depot w/ 15%off coupon. They sound surprisingly good fed via toslink output from the Sony. With Chromecast built-in, I can use them as a Roon endpoint too. Pretty great experience for $350.
