deHavilland 845G or GM70?

Say you wanted to try single ended triode and have settled on amp maker deHavilland. Speakers will be chosen to mate with the amp, a clean slate if you will. Could experienced users explain your preference?
Well first the disclaimer - yours truly peddles deHavilland.

If the speaker is low efficiency and/or a somewhat difficult load and/or if you like it really loud, go with the GM70.

If none of those considerations come into the picture, go with the 845G. Now I have not heard them side-by-side in the same system, but my impression is that the 845 is a bit better sounding tube.
