Please excuse my ignorance, what is "PRAT"????
Thanks
par3n1
PRaT is a term originally used mostly by the Brits to differentiate toe-tapping from low-bass "slogging".
Silly me! I thought it was Jack's last name.

It's good to know that goofy acronyms are not just the exclusive property of government agencies.

Audio equipment displaying "Pace, Rhythm and Timing"...right, and I am the Walrus.
PRaT = Pace, Rhythm, and Timing.

Don't be shy, there are lot's of goofy terms in audiophile.

Now as to how this manifests itself in our listening and how each person interprets it is whole 'nother thing.

Happy listening!
