Comments on Rega Planet 2000 CDP??

Creek CD43mk2 is one box solution in your price range. I have owned mine for about 3 weeks now. It is one fine, smooth performer, makes me want to listen to CD instead of
LP. Auditioned Rega 2000, also very good, build seems too plastic, styling is a matter of taste.

I have a Planet and have used it for about 2 years. I got a 2000 loaner and listened to borh for a few days. I could not determine a difference that would cause me to dump the original. Particularly on the used market the original is a very good value although the ergonomics take a little getting used to. Build quality of both is very good. MHO
