The hyperions appear here pretty often. At a show in NYC a fews years ago, I liked them. Thought that they might have a tendency for artificial detail that made them a good match for tube amplification.
Coincident Super eclipse vs Hyperion 938
After a long research mainly on the Internet I have finally narrowed down my effective speaker list to Coincident Super Eclipse (Mk I to III depending on the used price) and Hyperion (938) speakers. I know that comparing speakers is always a matter of personal taste, the room, additional equipment, music taste and so on, but as I have no dealer close by who sells either of the two I want to get some impressions and thoughts from you to help me in making a decision. Has anyone any experience with both of the speakers? How likely is it to get used ones?
