Clearaudio does tend toward lighter effective mass on their arms than what is currently typical.
I have not had the pleasure of setting up a Universal, but I have a few clients with the Tracer, and that arm has no problem with, for example, the Aidas cartridges and I have seen a Benz LPS on one too.
Synergy is another question, but compatibility? Easier to count off what carts 'wont' than what 'will'.
