Belles Gr8 passive pre-amp?

Does anybody have any experience with this pre-amp? I was just about to purchase a creek OBH-12 because I need a remote and don't want to spend a whole lot of cash. Then I saw the Belles in a classified and checked it out on thier web page. Has anyone heard this unit? Is it worth the extra cost over the creek?
