B.B. King, whose scorching guitar licks and heartfelt vocals made him the idol of generations of musicians and fans while earning him the nickname King of the Blues, died late Thursday at home in Las Vegas. He was 89.

What a great loss for the artistic members and also fans. Hope he will rest with is best friend "LUCILLE"
The thrill is gone.
His music and influence will outlast us all.
Yes, it is strange that no one comments.
Makes one wonder.......

All the best,
RIP BB! Thank you for influencing so many to help keep the greatest form of music alive. It is really sad on this site so few appreciate the Blues. For anyone who hasn't seen Buddy Guy live go see him before he passes.
There are at least 2 or 3 bb king threads going with some comments but not as many as one might expect.
