Adding a Cambridge 640P to an Onkyo A9555

Is it worth the 179 dollar upgrade? I have read on A-gon before that the 9555 has a pretty decent onboard MM stage, and I have a Denon 110, so it should work, but I would like to give myself some options down the road.
