Added a LHY OCK 2 to EtherRegen > Bricasti chain

What a nice surprise this clock has been. For under a grand all in which includes Harmonic Technologies Copper III BNC cable this has been a huge upgrade. So much space between players with increased resolution and transparency. Really took the Bricasti to a new level while maintaining the dacs strengths. Midrange really shines.
The LHY is very receptive to cabling. When I first got it it had a Gotham BNC cable and I was using a power chord from Farad. It was ok, but knew the potential was there. I swapped over to a Anti cables level 2 power chord and the HT copper ( I now have the silver HT III) and everything snapped into place.
I am running it 75 ohm( EtherRegen) square wave. The LHY has 6 out puts that are all configurable. You may read that it doesn’t measure that well ( at least the OCK 1) but with the right cabling I don’t think you can beat the upgrade. Of course if your Dac doesn’t have a clock input you would have to include the cost of something like the EtherRegen to implement into your system.

Hello,

It seems like you are expressing your positive experience with a clock upgrade for your audio system. You mentioned the Harmonic Technologies Copper III BNC cable, which has provided a significant improvement in terms of increased resolution, transparency, and space between players. This upgrade has taken your Bricasti to a new level while maintaining the strengths of the DACs, particularly highlighting the midrange.

You also mentioned the LHY, which appears to be very receptive to cabling upgrades. Initially, you had a Gotham BNC cable and a power cord from Farad, which yielded satisfactory results but didn't fully unlock the system's potential. However, after switching to an Anti cables level 2 power cord and the HT Copper III (now upgraded to the silver HT III), everything fell into place.

You are currently running the LHY at 75 ohm with a square wave configuration, utilizing the EtherRegen. The LHY has six configurable outputs, and while it may not measure exceptionally well (specifically referring to the OCK 1), you believe that with the right cabling, the upgrade is unbeatable. It's worth mentioning that implementing the EtherRegen into your system might be necessary if your DAC doesn't have a clock input.

In summary, you are pleased with the clock upgrade and its impact on your audio system's performance, particularly when paired with the appropriate cables.

Welcome to the forum.
Yes I was looking for a possible upgrade to the Bricasti M3 as it is sounds real good but I don’t feel not the utmost in resolution and transparency. The LHY gives me all the additional positives that I was looking for. Texture, space, emotion is all there while maintaining Bricasti’s big sound

Anybody else think the brookepeterson post was written by AI? I fiddled with Chatbot a little bit and I it’s been the same style. Not saying it’s a crime or anything if it was. Welcome to 2023…

That post from brookepeterson is one of the weirdest things I've read on this site in a while.
