Aurender MQA update worth it?
Thanks for the feedback, I'll give it a try. For the coin you probably can't go wrong.
Schiit Freya plus. Is this an upgrade?
This is what I've been waiting for, I bought the Saga instead of the original Freya just on the hopes that they would do this!!! Tube shut down is AWESOME.
Who are the Kings of Audiogon?
I vote for that crazy dude doing the long list of amplifiers thread!! Just teasing....would love to party with him sometime. :)
Am I considered to be a materialistic person?
I don't love anything else I own but my stereo, it's always been like that, probably always will. I make no excuses, respectfully care not what others think about it. It's just me.
Music lover or audiophile?
Without the music, the equipment is pointless....this is for sure. But if I walk into a room with an awesome system that is powered off, I still appreciate it for the engineering, materials, manufacturing and history behind it. A diamond to me is ...
Music lover or audiophile?
I'll admit it, I love the equipment almost as much as the music. And while I've scaled back over the years and appreciate the music much more than ever, I still love the equipment. Hi I'm Tim........and I'm an audiophile
Radio Paradise Free
I love RP, listen to it all day in my office. When a song strikes my fancy I add it to a Tidal playlist. Great way to experience new music. Just like normal radio, some songs aren't your cup of tea....I just turn down the volume till the next song...

Thanks for checking it out and the kudos. Yes I find whatever speakers I put in that room need a bit of toe-in for proper imaging and soundstage. I was curious about the wide baffle design and what it offered up. Care to elaborate? My understandin...

I’m listening to Tin Pan Alley and I’m getting goose bumps just like 30 years ago when I heard my B&W 801’s for the first time, they were playing organ music...bought them that day :)And the kicker is I’m playing it on my baby system. I’m thin...

Thanks for the feedback guys!! Louis only had these kicking around, no alnico's so I'm relying on folks like you who have experienced the differences. I really appreciate it.

I knew if I went with the Zu DW's I'd have to be hovering my mouse on the buy button that very day. I thought it was an annual event but looks like roughly evert 6 months. I'd still love to hear them but I'm going with an Omega.Does anyone have ex...

Main amp is a PrimaLuna Prologue 5 and I often hook it up to a Parasound Zamp v3 for background music and tv. Going to try my Threshold later :)

I'm loving these so much, but I'm probably going to order the Super 7 Monitor MK2 with the alnico driver upgrade. Was originally looking for SAM or CAM.
Have you ever downgraded deliberately?
Downgrade I'm not sure about but space limits made me get rid of my B&W 801 S2's. Not really fair putting SVS gear up against the Beemers but they are rocking my smaller space and sounding very musical and fun. I'm missing nothing.Tv and movie...
Bryston 2WSB switch box to choose amp that drives speakers
That's a great price Al. I like that it has an off position in the middle, no way for the two amps to be mixed. This whole thing may seem crazy to some but I'm really looking forward to being able to just flick a switch for what amp I want to use....
