Does anyone have a digital system that is as involving as their analogue front end?
I took a leap of faith and added the Ferrum Wandla GSE DAC/Pre and Hyssop external power supply with my Aurender N200. Digital improved so much from SimAudio NP 390. Sound is great and at times almost at same sound quality level. Analog still bett...

Do you buy used carts/needles? Is it risky?
Was given an expensive Sumiko Palo Santos with cantilever missing. Sent off to SoundSmith to replace cantilever and it sounds amazing. No way I would buy brand new. Now I would buy used carts that need repair when the retail expensive is over $3k ...
Seeking to upgrade from my Prime Scout turntable
I love the VPI JMW uni-pivot arms. Once it is setup accurately it is just amazing. Once user gets use to the "movement" it becomes easy and natural. Have VPI HW19 MKIV with platter, SAMA, and suspension upgrade with JMW 10" Fatboy uni-pivot tonear...
My Bluesound Vault 2 died. Where to next?
I recommend the Aurender N200 streamer. Their conductor app is best! I use USB over coax for output to my DAC.
??? Established Manufacturer or Take A Chance ???
Most of my gear are produced by established brands though not mass produced. Some are modern vintage models (late 90's early 2000's) that are not produced anymore though still repairable by the brands.
How to dispose of your system?
Heirs know how to use my gear and value. Which heir(s) wants the gear and vinyl, they will decide.  If no one want, then I have included a provision who to contact to help sell gear and vinyl. That person (personal friend in biz) has agreed to hel...

VPI Signature 21 Lubricate

Olympica Nova III or V?
Nova V is the way. Got mine 3 years ago and I feel they will be my last tower speakers until I have to downsize system and living space. Sound is so full, detailed, and airy even with my SS amp (McCormack DNA 225). Listened to them for 3-4 months ...
Qobuz vs Airplay
Prior system had Simaudio 390 NP with ARC VS115, ARC LS17, and Revel F32. Used Qobuz 95% to stream over other streaming apps. IMO, Qobuz sounded so much better than Apple Music/ITunes via AirPlay especially with Simaudio 390 NP.
New vs uses in your current setup
Currently 20% new and 80% used. However. the new gear I got discounts
BEST SPEAKER THAT COMES TO LIFE AT LOW LISTENING LEVELS
Speakers with high efficiency (90db) will help however a combination of amp/preamp with low impedance can produce louder sound at lower volume. I can have low volume which sounds loud with my combo of ARC VS115 amp and ARC LS17 preamp with Revel F...
