Television technology - where are we?
A point to bear in mind during all of this “4K” insanity is that IPTV and streaming services like Netflix et al are restricted by the bottleneck that is your Internet connection. True uncompressed 4K uses 6gb/s of bandwidth for 2SI and square divi...
Can we finally put Reel to Reel out of its misery? Put it to rest people.
Chalkster, my 3 kids, ages 18, 20 and 23 despise rap as much as I do. They like many formats, but genuinely love Rock.
Most useful tweaks that are sensible and really make a noticeable improvement

Chakster you probably can’t find your rap on R2R, but sound quality was never a requirement for rap anyhow.

Keep speaker cables as short as possible.Use shielded twisted pair (one pair for each channel) from your tonearm to phono stage. Remove speaker grilles.

Forever turntable under $2000
Ummm, Jeffreylee, you could be right, but I don’t think so. Assuming that “some people” don’t like superior quality, but that’s a stretch, because common idiots don’t really count as a people. Hel-loo!

Don’t forget the Open Cassette introduced by TEAC.
What is the best BNC Digital Cable under $4,000?
All that is required is quality Amphenol connectors on Belden Brilliance cable. That’s what they use in recording, mixing and mastering. Everywhere.
