Cambridge Audio EDGE Electronics
i have the Edge speakers.  It's no surprise that they are good, 'but they are surprisingly good.  They will remind one of YG Acoustics as far as tone, texture and detail.  They even look like YG's.  I bought them for my office and found they were ...
Primare I35 Prisma
I have the I35 Prisma.  it's outstanding.  Plenty of good clean power.  Class D has come a long way>. It's refined, warm, details - almost everything of class A minus the heat.  I have them on Wilson's and 300 watts into 4ohms will get you atte...
Joule-Electra VZN OTL Users- I Need advice!
I have the VZN-100 monoblocks.  Good Q&A's. Thanks
Unison Research Performance integrated amplifier
I'm late to the party in terms on response, but I will add my 2 cents.  It's among the best tube amps I've ever heard.  If you pair them with Opera speakers (Sister company), then you're in for a treat.     It's very very heavy.
Any regrets in selling gear?
I regret selling S.A.P Anniversary monoblocks and S.A.P Anniversary preamplifier.  Two great pieces
Swiss cables
I have Swiss cables on all my systems.  The Reference, Evolution and Diamond speaker cables.  They are worth it.  Like the previous post - These made the biggest difference (positive) than any other cable.  They are delicate though so taking them ...
Harbeth vs Vandersteen vs Sonner
I have the Sonner Duo Legato speakers.  They are paired with 25 watt Audion monoblocks and sound great.  They are very dynamic, refined but not too polite.  $8500 is a lot of money, but I've heard more expensive speakers that weren't as impressive...
Who needs a Preamp??
To answer your question, IMO.  Without a preamplifier you are listening to audio components but with a preamplifier, you are listening to music.
Any Rethm Bhaava owners?
I know it's an old post, but I can contribute to any future questions now that I own a pair of the Rethm Bhaava speakers.  They are effing awesome.  I was too challenged by what amplifier and preamp to partner them with.  David256 knows his stuff....
Is vintage audio better? I'm starting to look at current (modern) and non-US audio.
Thanks for the quality thoughts and opinions on this.  My question came from some stereo monitors I just picked up that I had never heard of but are simply outstanding.  They were/are $3800.00L in the UK. but because they are so unknown here, I pi...
Is vintage audio better? I'm starting to look at current (modern) and non-US audio.
Yeah - was hesitant to mix the discussion parameters.  Vintage vs Modern  or foreign vs domestic audio.  Both are open for discussion.
Mixing speaker cables on bi-wired speakers
Jayctoy, thanks for starting the thread. I had a feeling it has been asked, but I couldn’t find it last night. Thanks and thanks for all the responses.
Have you ever met another audiogon member in person?
i meet Audiogon members all the time - almost every transaction.  I try to avoid shipping and that affords me to meet most buyers and sellers in person.  I can honestly say that in the 15 yrs or so trading, swapping, buying and selling audio, I ha...
Seller has not contacted yet. How long should I wait...
Still a good question.  I have often wondered myself.   Thanks for putting it out there.   It's good to read others viewpoints and read experiences.
Fuselier Model 9 speakers
Are the model 9's worth getting?
