You don't lack bass, you have too much treble
@curiousjim    I would be taking a hard look at those two openings and pass through to the kitchen. Do a test by covering them with plywood, heavy blakets/curtains etc. And see if it changes things. Other open areas to rooms can wreck havoc on a...

Another vote for the Innuos Zen. Been using one for almost 4 years without a single problem. Zen simply gets out of the way and plays music. CD ripper is so easy to use. Innuos Sense software is great..so good I couldn't go back to using Roon.   ...

Please don't end the quest without giving  https://livevibeaudio.com/in-home-visit/ a fair chance. Aka Star Sound Technologies. I have been using them for years under speakers and electronics. Truly opens the sound up. Several good choices her...
Looking for an all-in-one just-add-speakers streamer for my son to take to college
The new Marantz Stereo 70s would fit the bill. An added bonus is he could run his TV audio through it as well. Has HDMi ports. Around $1000.
Anthem ARC - Well, it's not that great.
What firmware are you using?

ZEN Mini S vs. Small Green Computer Sonic Transporter i5 music server/Ultra Rendu Streamer
Another vote for Innuos. Zen is a great bang for the buck. I've been using one for 3 years without a hiccup. I've also dropped Roon because the Sense software  is so good and keeps getting better.

Current system not doing it for you? It looks really nice and well set up.
Stereo image off-center
Streaming from Qobuz, vocals dead center and piano mostly right.
Help. System sounds thin and bright or harsh
You could be sitting in a bass null. Cutting the bass and hearing a lot more of the highs. I would play with listening position and speaker placement. Any way to measure the system? REW? Test tones and sound meter? That will tell you quite a bit.
SPDIF Coax cable recommendation?
Acoustic Zen Mc2 is excellent at a fair price.
Klipsch La Scala replacement?
