thanks guys i have a mcintosh c41 pre amp not sure if it will have the gain to run a high output coil i now have acoustic feed back at the 1 oclock with the grado so i dont no what to do any more

my dealer told me you can change taps it cant hurt the amp cause of the autoformers match the load but you are still useing the same amount of power i have played with the taps i dont tell any change in the sound i talked to mac teck suport they a...

thanks guys i had to move the table to the other side of the room away from my maritin logan sumits i think the power woffers inthem are over sentive to acoustic feed back how long of a cable is to long i am useing a 16foot i cant here any single ...

yes i had it set up by a good repair shop it seams like hum gets louder as the needle goes to the middle of the record allso tryed other cables the first one grounded out whhen you touched it think it was less insulited

you might want to talk to mike up in audio classic.com they no mcintosh they helped me alot

the mac mc 402 is anice amp i have the older mc352 running martin logan sumits i play my music loud the amp never runs out of power i use a mvp861 for a d player sounds very rich
