(-1) on the Audiolab: Stay away from the Audiolab transport,  great sound when it worked, but I had severe issues with the slot loader...Free advice..Cheers

Or, just get a Rega top loader and be done with it.  I've had many players and transports,   Disk trays, slot loader, most had issues.  I have settled on a modded Rega Planet 2000, very happy with it and no issues...Solidly built and pretty good s...

+1 Discogs.  I also use dr-wars.com First for checking the quality of the recordings before I buy anything,  very helpful.  and I then I can use Amazon Prime if cost is competitive. I’ve found some “jewels “ from them. And eBay too...Cheers

Thank you, I saw the $299 and almost bought the last one...I have decided to go with the Audiolab, to arrive Wednesday.  Don t know if any breaking will be needed but will start listening right away.  I thank all those who contributed to the cause...
