Anti-Static Brush
It's another OEM version of a Kinetronics brush commonly available in photographic stores like B&H. A slightly larger model with an extended handle with an optional ground wire is also available and sold as the Big Record Brush by Acoustic Sou...
Emo dumps Carver, the Carver site is down.
Vicdamone - I don't see how the dealer could be found to be legally responsible since product warranties are provided by the product manufacturer, not the seller.
Cerious Technologies?
Jfz, he's currently running a product listing for the Nano Reference balanced ICs. I would suggest trying to contact him through the ad link provided.
legacy speakers
Sorry to hear about your situation. The issue seems to be with Morrow Audio rather than Legacy speakers, so if you don't get much response I would suggest starting another post with Morrow Audio in the title.
Cerious Technologies?
According to some of the recent product listings for the Cerious Nano Reference ICs, they have been offered in both shielded and unshielded versions. I have two pair of the shielded XLR ICs and can attest to their excellence with no hum or RF prob...
DAC Recommendation around 2.5K
Stickman451, the NAD cannot decode DSD data from any input. This has been confirmed by NAD who said that it would require a hardware redesign to accommodate DSD.
NAD M3 Master Series Amp
Glad to hear that NAD is handling everything for you, and Bob is definitely the best person there to work with!
NAD M3 Master Series Amp
Stevizzy, since your dealer is unaware of the firmware upgrade I suggest that you contact NAD customer support. They are certainly aware of it since I know of someone that previously had it done with their support. Good luck!
NAD M3 Master Series Amp
I believe that there is a factory provided firmware upgrade for the NAD M3 which converts one of the existing inputs into a HT bypass. Contact NAD directly or your NAD dealer for details on how this can be done.
The Conrad Johnson Premier 350: Revisited
I read that their new location is not far from their previous one, so no worries about them moving to China!
The Conrad Johnson Premier 350: Revisited
I just spotted a used CJ 350SA listed here on Audiogon. I have no connection to or experience with the seller but thought that someone on this thread might be interested.
The Conrad Johnson Premier 350: Revisited
I don't see anything about this new model yet on the Conrad Johnson site. It states that they are currently in the process of moving and provides their email address as the best way to contact them. As an alternative I would suggest contacting the...
Do I esentially have a class A amp?
While the KST-100 is not a 'pure' class A design, at the level you are running it the amp should maintain class A operation.
EXPERIENCED VAC USERS—most bang for the buck
For the definitive answer to your question, I would suggest contacting VAC directly. Kevin Hayes, the owner of VAC, has a reputation for being extremely helpful to customers. I'm sure that he could explain the benefits or tradeoffs that either con...
The Conrad Johnson Premier 350: Revisited
For those considering the acquisition of a CJ Premier 350SA amp, I came across some info from one of their dealers about their new MF-2550SE. I haven't personally heard this model, but according to their product listing Bill Conrad claims that it ...
