Have to agree with Blind Faith, Little Village and Derek and the Dominos for fantastic one offs. Also, the first touring version of Steely Dan - circa "Can't Buy a Thrill". This is a hard one because Fagen and Becker have been around so long, but this particular band was an inspiration.
