krell vs marklevinson

I think it's not a matter of fairness here. Seems like poster is facing a buying decision and assuming both to be in similar price bracket.

I've listened to both; the Krell KAV250 outperforms the much older Levinson 27 in my opinion. The Krell is faster, more open and transparent; it makes the Levinson sound somewhat dark in comparison.
