Preamp advice

I'm considering a preamp change. I'm thinking about a used ss preamp. I'm looking for something under $1000 that is very detailed and has a very low noise floor. Any suggestions?

BV Audio P10 or P1 preamp. Sounds fantastic and very, very quiet. I think they are $1500-$1700 new. Bill

Either solid state or hybrid models will sound great. Highly underrated & great value. Also extremely versatile - plenty of inputs & outputs. I've seen a few of them recently for less than a grand.
