Any Good SACD Player Plays CD Well

I have prepaid for a DCC2 and it should be in by the end of June- mid July. I have been waiting for 3 months already, good thing for me patience is a virtue :)

I don't think it looks too "pro" but I believe they have changed faceplates to make it look more "home" audio. I know many like look of highend manufacturers--almost all of it, to me, looks ugly, no matter how much brushed steel, etc. there is.

I must be the Lone Ranger and totally crazy here (no comment please Tim), but I actually LIKE my BUTT ugly Switchman. That darn thang is so homely it is cute, kinda like a bulldog!!! But let me tell ya, when you hear what the Meitner stuff SOUNDS like, if you really love music, it is kinda like the difference in opinion you have of the unattractive woman after having 8 beers!

But, as always, YMMV!!!

yeah, I'd have to say the Switchman et. al. don't make a pretense of looking good the way most equipment does. I prefer the echt look of the Meitner gear.

Has anyone compared the Dac 8 to the Dac 6?
