The answer I give is that everything is "application specific", so in reality there is nothing that will work well in every scenario. That is indeed an absolute. What does the Ultra get you? I'm thinking of a 2 or a 2.5 Ultra. THe obvious difference is another 500VA but is there something else in the Ultra labling?
