Three favorite LP’s

1. Al Stewart's "Modern Times". Great orchestration and excellent songwriting.

2. Richard Wagner -"The Ring of the Nibelung", Solti conducting. Yeah, I know this is thirteen or so LPs. Epic.

3. Anton Dvorak - "The New World Symphony". Mehta conducting.(on London). The closest I've ever heard to a live orchestra..

There are many, many more in the same class as those above. Pretty tough to choose only three.

Mine are:

Bach Cantata #140. Karl Ristenpart, conductor. On  Nonesuch Records.

Debussy Nocturnes and Jeux. Concertgebouw Orchestra, Haitink, conductor.  On Philips Records

Just the Blues. Joe Williams, Count Basie. On Roulette Records,

T. Rex, Electric Warrior is always in my top mix. LP belonged to my parents, not in great shape but would never replace it.
