Sonus Faber Olympica G3 3

We have had the III's for a few weeks and they completely blew us away.  Some of the lower end Sonus Faber (Lumina and Sonetto) we can find a few notable faults with...  However, the new G3 Olympicas are utterly spectacular.  We have the V on their way and should have them today or tomorrow.  Couldn't be more excited.

They're so good in fact, that we are considering bringing in a pair of the Amati Supreme.

The new G3 are just kind of the ultimate speaker.  They image so solidly with such a good presence and weight to everything that just feels so round and real, if that makes sense.  There is zero shoutiness or brightness yet they are lively and expressive.   They're one of our favorite speakers in the store and the best sounding SF speakers we have ever heard in our store.  Highly highly recommend seeking them out to listen.

@simplystereo    Congrats on carrying the Olympica line. Was very close to purchasing the Nova 2 in 2022 but the bass was not right slightly boomy/loose as if SF was trying too hard on getting extra bass out of a small cabinet. I assume clarity and dynamics have also improved with the updated drivers? Do you have any information if Olympica 2 will be released at a later date since there is a big $ gap between the 1 and 3?

@dayglow Haven't heard anything like that.  From what we saw with our Olympica Nova sales and heard from the company over the life of them is that the II didn't sell very well vs the I and III.  

We did get the V in yesterday (still waiting on the I's) and a few people since our last post have listened to both.  Mainly the III because they're more settled in and have had more time to dial them in position/room wise.  Everyone who has sat down to listen has been extremely impressed.  Sometimes I wish we could post video reactions from people who sit and listen to certain systems so it doesn't sound like us just pushing products (if you knew us, you'd know that's not how we are at all) -- but yes, we have had some VERY favorable "holy $hi?" kinda reactions on the III since we got them.
