Focal Sopra long term enjoyment

A lot of audiophiles including myself change out speakers like underwear! I’m curious impressions of Focal Sopra owners that have had them for several years or more and are you still digging them? I have a couple different speakers I’m looking at used and this is one I have not heard.

@mofojo ETID sounds great on my Sopra 2’s. I’m in a tiny room so very close to speakers (7 ft). No complaints. They are a more forward speaker but that's what I like. Do well even in small rooms. Won't ever be selling mine.

What are you pushing yours with? I was worried my Lyngdorf 2210 would be not good enough for them. So far it has been just awesome. Changed the crossover to 50hz last night to let the Focals handle the entire mid bass spectrum. Up till 2am last night playing song after song with the wife.

I've had Sopra 3's for about 7 years, 6 years in their current room, 14x19 feet with 10 foot ceiling.  Wool carpet on wood floor on concrete slab.  Room treatments by GIK acoustics.

 

I still think they sound great.  Driven by a Hypex Nilai 250W/ch.
