How has your system evolved? Did you try a REF 150? I have had several ARC pieces over the past 8 years. I didn't have them at the same time but felt like the REF 75SE was better than the REF 150. I also had a REF 5SE and while dealing with some technical issues got an XP20. The XP20 sounded great and I was not able to tell a difference in my system between the two preamps. I have been contemplating a complete move away from tubes to an all PASS system. I have never had a PASS amp so am not sure.

Would appreciate if anyone has compared the 2 amplifiers. I am currently using a pair of martin logan summit.
Was originally on a pass Xp20 Pass 350.5 combo driving my martin logan summits. Changed my preamp to the ARC Reference 5SE and am now contemplating if i should change out my amp from the pass to the ARC ref 150. Wondering if this is a sideways or upgrade and would appreciate opinions.
