Cleeds thank you...th
I'm going to pick up Sticky Fingers and Some Girls.
@klimt , It’s short for Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs. They produce a higher quality vinyl pressing. They command a higher price and the handful I have sound very nice. Im glad you like the newer Stones music, it’s not for me. The last couple Stones albums I spun were Sticky Fingers and Some Girls. I prefer their early stuff that tends to be pretty dark. I was fortunate enough to have front row seats on one of the cat walks for the Tattoo You tour at Candlestick Park but that was the previous century. My buddy’s friend worked for Bill Graham and we paid an outrageous price of $30 for the Special Access passes that were stickers we put on our chest. Damn I’m old ! 😆 Cheers , Mike B. |
For a band that can afford the worlds best studio, engineers the Stones usually fall short. They got it right on 1983 Undercover. Good quality. Soundstage goes way beyond speakers on Undercover. If I recall Black and Blue sounds pretty good too. Sadly most of their 60s, 70s lps that I have lack dynamics. |
