Atma-Sphere Class D… Amazing

Today I picked up my Atma-Sphere Class D Amps. These aren’t broken in yet. And they are simply amazing. I’ve listen to a lot of High End Class D. Some that cost many times what Atma-Sphere Class D costs. I wasn’t a fan of any of them. But these amps are amazing. I really expected to hate them. So my expectations were low. The Details are of what I’ve never heard from any other amps. They are extremely neutral. To say the realism is is extremely good is a gross understatement. They are so transparent it’s scary. These amps just grab you and suck you into the music. After I live with them some and get them broken in. And do some comparisons to some other high end Amps Solid State, Tubes and Class D’s, also in other systems I’ll do a more comprehensive review. But for now, these are simply amazing amps.. Congrats to Ralph and his team. You guys nailed on these.

whatugot Details Discussions Posts This discussion Message User 15 posts 07-13-2026 at 06:22pm Copy Comment URL Report Comment Edit Delete Just spoke with Ralph- I may be pulling trigger on the atma-sphere-class-d monos- my system is Vandersteen 3A Sigantures; right now I am using B&K Reference 2220 and Lynn Klimax Kontrol with dynamik PS, optical Ethernet to Eversolo T10 paired w/Terminator 15th or Pontus 15th (I can use either or a Venus 15th), Denafrips Avatar transport. I barely use stereo speakers - I make headphones here in NY called JM AUDIO so all my best gear goes towards the headphone set ups (I have a few desk set ups. Would you say the Atmasphere D's would sound great with the Vandertseens? I know company's like Arye use zero global feedback and helps with time domain- so I am asking anyone for help- much appreciated! -John M

The real issue is: is the feedback properly applied and is the feedback network properly designed? If yes then the amp can be musical.
