Do you have any gear that was outright given to you?

I was fortunate enough to have been gifted a McIntosh PS112 subwoofer. They are quite old now, but it continues to perform. It needed some repairs when it was given to me- a total of not quite $300 put it back into good working order.

You must enjoy many memories when you use your father's equipment. That's the true gift.

@richardbrand

"just after your stereo had been stolen". I understand that, I was ransacked once, looked like a bad movie, everything thrown in every direction, took me a long time to get over it.

Your father certainly eased you back into things, and crossed you over to Vinyl too, he was a great man I'm sure.

@rbstehno

I remember exactly when and where I saw that movie, and remember the TT. I think I would have wanted to keep 1, and hope I would have been smart enough to keep the 2nd for spare parts.

@elliottbnewcombjr , LOL , the two best days of owning a boat are the day you buy it and the day you sell it. The Rogues came with their shipping cartons and I could have opted for the required repairs which would have been a few hundred plus shipping. Spending the $3K brought them up to spec as new and with the Dark upgrades and a full compliment of new tubes. I WANTED a pair of high wattage tube monos and like I said, I spent $3K and they look new and play as new and they currently retail for $9K so I’m OK with that. Down the road when I get my TT up and running maybe I can hit you up for some info. Cheers , Mike B.
