Garrard 40B with AT green cart - 1973. Not a huge TT guy , currently have a modded Thorens TD-160 with Grado Prestige cart. Unfortunately my current pre     ( Rogue Hera ) lacks a phono stage. Considering a tube phono stage later this year. Cheers , Mike B.

1. Started in 1982 with a Thorens TD166 MKII with an AKG  cartrige .

2. sold it in 1985 to buy a second hand Heybrooke TT2 with a Linn basik tonearm and a goldring cartridge.

3. changed the tonearm to a Alphason HRS-100 in the mid 1990's. A homerun.

4. Bought a demo Rega P10 in 2024 with a Hana SL. Sold it within 30 days when a friend of mine offered me his Linn LP2 with lingo 3 and Akito 3B. The Linn was better in all respects.

5. Upgraded the Linn since with a Arko tonearm, a Hana Umami Blue and more recently a Lingo 4. Better than all I could expect. What a journey. Now a happy camper.
