Does anyone have a digital system that is as involving as their analogue front end?

I have a good analogue front end. Not stratuspherically good but good enough for this comparison. VPI Prime Signature 21 turntable, Pass Labs XP-25 pono preamp, Pass Labs XP-30 preamp and Hovland Radia amp. It has a lovely, very involving sound. On the right recording, I just drop everythng and am drawn in to listen.

My streamer, on the other hand, is decent but not spectacular. It is better than my CD player, but it is not jaw-dropping like my analogue front-end. My question is this: does anyone have a high-end, tier-one streamer (dCS Bartok Apex, Lumin X2, or something like them) that can rival a good analogue system?

@audio-b-dog new DAC arrives today?

when comparing jplay vs wobuz connect, jplays sounds more natural to me with better depth. Q connect is great but it’s a bit more direct and slightly flatter in the soundstage department. Again, that’s in my system. We have totally different equipment, cables and room acoustics and until you hear it yourself, you won’t know.

I will try to set up Jplay when it arrives, probably at around 4 or 5. Google AI has given me instructions on how to do it. Hopefully everything goes well.

I've plugged in the MA3i. I think it sounds like a different streamer. I was listening to Eric Clapton Unplugged today on the MA3, and there were many things I was noticing about it being "soft." Lack of transcient attack on the guitars and a inflation of the sound. The entire sound was "wooly." All of that has been corrected with the MA3i. I haven't done any intense listening or even broken it in, but it is definitely one or more steps up from the Meitner MA3. Thanks for recommending it. BTW, I am listening on Jplay.

I love my MA3i, I just going directly to Qobuz and even with my AirPlay streamer the Mano Ultra Mk3 Farad what comes out of the Meitner is heavenly….I see you sitting in your listening chair and the turntable getting dusty…lol…
