the one that got away - how do you handle grief?


I just lost a bid for my dream speakers that I had been chasing for a decade. It was pretty stupid because I missed the last hour and maybe I would have won it with another $100. But maybe it's a sign, it's just a piece of hardware, that I should not be obsessed with. - "you can't always get what you want"

Did you always get the gear you thought would make you whole?

Since my son moved to the home of the slowest subways in the world (that were faster in 18967) you don't need to brag about your weather @thecarpathian - I know all about it. My ineptness has limits cheeky

Even the slowest subway is better than driving up top with those B-town lunatics.

Last time I drove there I vowed never again.

that’s just such a good outcome. And a validation for everybody else whose ever almost succumbed to hard sell tactics because they really wanted the product, despite the warning signs  

I’m definitely betting those will bring you years of listening bliss.
