Items from audiophile's estate, list and photos link provided; helpful advice appreciated!

Hello,

I'm tasked with selling audio equipment from the estate of a late friend. I'm hoping to sell it all as a lot, but may have to list the best of the items individually. For pricing, I tried to find similar items at "SOLD" prices. I then reduced my price by 50% since I haven't tested any of the equipment. I want to be very fair, but the goal, of course, is to help with my friend's final expenses. I'd appreciate any constructive comments; thank you!

I realize you would like to sell everything as a package, but would you consider selling the test records as a group, but separate from the electronics?

Hello limomangus,

I agree with you. Thank you for your good wishes, and I wish you the best with the things you want to sell. Have a nice day!

Hello rgs,

Yes, Sir, I will be willing to do that. In the next week or so I'll start pricing the items individually. I'll price the test records as a group and get back with you then. Thanks for your interest; have a great day!

Audio Classics in NY is another option.  Similar to the Music Room.  If you don't like the direction and just really need to move, EBTH on-line auction.  Typically doesn't go for super great prices but it is moved.  Good luck, sorry for your loss.

Hello hossierinohio,

Thanks for your suggestions. I went to EBTH as I wasn't very familiar with it. It's a fascinating site! Audio Classics looked interesting, too. I'll have to check with them. I wonder if I have enough of interest for them to consider having it picked up here in Tennessee? I sure don't want to have to ship everything to them for appraisal, then have much of it rejected and the rest at a low-ball price. I'll just ask!

Thanks for your help and kind words; have a great day!
