Puritan Labs PSM 156-NFR Studio Master Mains Purifier. That's a handle.
This Furutech version with all of the input receptacles rhodium. Initial impressions, measurably better than the stock Puritan Labs 156 which is quite good by any measure. Retail $7,500 is a chunk and a difficult sell by itself, but it does deliver in a big way. Going from no conditioner to this would be life affirming.
Others may chime in and scream a better investment would be 20A dedicated lines, and they could well be correct. At the moment, not an option with difficult house logistics for that wiring.
What it does. All the things we audiophiles desire. Lower noise floor, improved resolution, more dynamics and simply organizing everything as far as sound stage.
I've several Furutech 4.1 power cables which took quite a while to break in. Assuming the power conditioner will follow suite and improve with time.
Unit is about twice taller than the stock, so allow room or understand reorganization. I reorganized components and cabling for an hour. 'First World' problems galore. To the non-believers, basta! Then don't buy it. Ciao
