have not yet decided what to play today however if i had my druthers would purchase each and every of the 78 albums of Kronos Quartet as am quite devoted . have played their tape years ago of "Pieces of Africa" to breakage of player . though am still amazed the very first piece on their very first album is "Funky Chicken" . oh well . no one is perfect . once heard a performance sounding like breaking glass . unfortunately have yet found the album as am eager to hear again . most recently have been auditioning various performances of Stravinsky Petrushka and Firebird . also have been listening to the soundtrack of film "Gattaca" and finding the experience surprisingly soothing .
