@grunge1000 like I said if you’re ever in Los Angeles, I would be happy to show you how five or six different power cords all sound different and how different XLR cables all sound different.
even something like AES Cables sound different, even AES and out digital devices sound different with different power cords… It doesn't make sense to me, but it's absolutely audible It’s not hard to hear when you’re in an excellent room but most people don’t have an excellent room or the objectivity to actually do the listening
it’s really not about manufacturer claims it’s about real world work experience, my job is to provide a qualitative upgrade and that means many times investing in things that other people never would it’s a gain of a foot by 1000 smaller steps, what a manufacturer claims is irrelevant. |
@grunge1000 yes as I mentioned literally everything has a signature even disposable 50 Cent Chinese power cords have a slightly different sound one to the other, although they are extremely similar if taken on the aggregate
if you were here or if you were anywhere that was an extremely high-quality monitoring environment you would be able to hear these things. Yes I have no doubt about that… The issue is the monitoring/room/amplifier situation doesn’t allow people to hear these things and then they have a preconceived bias and if you add those two things up then of course it all seems like a ridiculous Enterprise.
someone with an open mind and an excellent room? That’s when things get very interesting As far as your point about cable manufacturers proving something on their website… You have to understand that if you look for example of Shunyata research, he’s a PhD. He’s got more knowledge about Cables than you will ever ever have so when someone has spent their whole life pursuing something they’re not gonna do what I’m doing here which is to take their time to talk to the closed minded and the ignorant ... they’re busy innovating things. We can choose to spend life arguing with ignorant people which again I’m taking a minute to do here or you can actually have a satisfying life, innovating products and being passionate about the things that you’re passionate about.
for example, Frank… you seem like an agitator robot, but if you are a person I’m done with you, good luck. I hope you get over your issues with profanity and I hope you enjoy your listening room with whatever you’ve decided to put together.
