I have never owned a system with tubes and read in one of the forums about the Aric Audio systems and it really piqued my interest.

So, the question is, will there be a considerable difference in sound quality with a tube system of the Aric quality paired with a DAC or is the tube system a better advantage with vinyl

Which tubes are you talking about specifically? Perhaps I’ve heard them.

A tube line stage may be a good place to start. You can use your existing components and place it in between, rather than sell or replace.

In addition, tube line stages typically sell fast, so you can easily flip what you buy if you no longer want or need it.

Try contacting Upscale Audio. They sell many components that are tube based and/or solid state. They also have a generous return policy. (I have no interest in this company!)

Since this will be your first foray into the tube world, I would avoid getting any amps with tube outputs. They need more frequent replacement (an additional expense) and may need occasional re-biasing. Preamps, amps or integrated amps with tube inputs would be the way to go.
