Lumin X2 Has anyone used this device yet?

I own the Lumin X1 and I have been very happy with it. Recently Lumin has now released the X2 model.

The updated X2 is supposed to have superior internal components that exceed the X1 in sonic attributes.

Still, there doesn't seem to be much info that I can find about it compared to the X1.

I rarely play the music on my hard drive. I actually think the music from Qobuz sounds as good. yyzsantabarbara, I am at the stage that simpler is better, less cable, shelve space, etc. ozzy

In my opinion it is a big upgrade sound quality wise over ethernet. I have been using an EtherRegen for that conversion for many years, but they have constantly promised a newer EtherRegen "Gen 2" version. I don’t think it is gonna happen. So, my question is; Is there a newer/different unit that outperforms the Etherregen? ozzy

The first one is called Volume leveling. This is to level the loudness (not the dynamics) of the songs in the playlist. You know, some songs play a lot louder or softer than others. This causes one to adjust the volume level to compensate. This firmware update makes all the songs sound at the same volume level. The 2nd firmware update, to me, improved the sound quality even further. ozzy
