the one that got away - how do you handle grief?

I just lost a bid for my dream speakers that I had been chasing for a decade. It was pretty stupid because I missed the last hour and maybe I would have won it with another $100. But maybe it's a sign, it's just a piece of hardware, that I should not be obsessed with. - "you can't always get what you want"

Did you always get the gear you thought would make you whole?

@faustuss  you are not wrong. I exaggerated when I used the word grief. My English is based on assumptions. It's not my first language.

@phd that's exactly what happened! If only I was diligent enough to stay online in the last 10 minutes. I thought that nobody wanted it that bad.

@simao it resonates with me a lot. I sold an amp, I still miss.

@jafant yes, but I am weak and flawed!

@jacklynn the number of times I was told to find a therapist by my wife is approaching the 1000s. devil

Not a big deal, you've expanded my point of view regarding your English. Its a good thing to have cultural perspectives and I'll try to remember and be more considerate of our language differences. smiley

Yes, he's mind bogglingly inept in two languages!

I believe it's known as being 'bi-nept'.
