I love aliexpress stuff, tis where I do most of my audiophile cable shopping...though ihave some audioquest cables.

60 bucks is the real fair price of that nordost wire + 2 connectors (and i am convinced it was made there all along). 14k is the patriot price markup to make someof these boys ooze with patriotic fervor.

I certainly know that one big country in Asia has become the most technologically advanced country in the world. I own a electronics company (nothing to do with audio), I might know a lot more about such things to stay in business, ya think?

Ahem...Not sure which bigot you're talking about, but, If you are looking for a bigot, look around some more on these type of forums, you'll find em.

As for me, if my spouse who hailed from the germanic tribes filed for divorce, I am finding meself an Asian spouse and settling down in Asia.

Well think about it logically. If they sold let’s say 4k interconnects total so far, after 1 year, its in their best interests as a high volume retailer to NOT provide garbage products to customers.

Economies of scale. Take a basics economics class.

They want repeat customers, and thrive off of them. It’s common sense.

I have bought a few things from aliexpress and never had a problem. Some were even delivered to one of my homes before the amazon parcels, which were expected to arrive earlier.

If you think the Chinese can’t produce quality products, then I’m sorry but you are a racist and a bigot.

As someone who has a pretty heavy corporate background, I have to tell you all the truth - Some may not like it. But you obviously understand what I’m saying.

Many of these "fancy" high end cables are in fact made in China in the SAME factories that some of these aliexpress/TEMU/amazon sellers etc. cables are made in. 

Big surprise.

How do I know this?

I have friends who OWN some of those factories. 

They basically ship out product all over the world to offices and even home addresses in the USA and those manufacturers, once acquiring the cables give them to dealers who impose a heavy mark up. 

That’s how the real world works. So sorry for spilling the truth.

Meanwhile, the owners of such cable manufacturers are living it up on yachts and rich like me, while folks like @audphile1 are worshipping their cables like a tribal cult worships an idol. Brand loyalty is okay, just don’t live in a fantasy land for the world to see. It’s embarrassing that you’ve had to "try so many cables" goes to show your electronics and speakers aren’t up to snuff.

Like your system can’t decide - but the reality is your listening sessions when swapping them out were not controlled, henceforth, your impressions were abstractions, not reality.

Are you talking about their power cable, ethernet cable? etc. ? 

You introduced the "cables" in your opening comment:

Fanatical claims from manufacturers, talking about how their cables will improve your system in specific ways, sonically. 

Whichever ones to which you were referring.  Signal cables would be the default choice, based on your comment.

A FANCY power cable is not going to change the electricity inside the audio device, because it needs to go through a stage of power rectification, which is the JOB of the power transformer(s) inside the equipment.

If it were really necessary, any hospital operating around the world would use them and it would be MANDATORY industry standard, and a violation of code if they were not using Shunyata. Hostpitals are about life or death... your audio system, not so much.

Please name two of those professional environments (company names), and how you have come to know those employees and management personnel.

Also, how do you know that they do not burn in their cables?

And even worse, some use cables as TONE controls! This is where audiophoolery becomes a religion. Audio dealers promote it, because it impacts their bottom line!

You lied about the professional companies use of their cables, and you lied about dealers promoting cables to be used as tone controls.

If those claims were true, you would have listed the parties.  But you cannot list them, because you lied about them.

I am not quick to call someone a liar.  But twice I asked you to name the parties, and twice you refused.  That makes your claims a lie.  I gave you multiple chances to validate your claims with the names of companies and dealers.  I gave you enough rope to hang yourself.  If that seems harsh, then don’t lie.
