Better (-shielded) Internet cables may reduce EFI / RMI noise in systems with mediocre / inadequate galvanic isolation.
But in a well-designed system, the source of Internet cable sound improvement exists solely in the listener’s head.
You do realize that I completely disagree with your concepts and ideas. They are not taking an Amazon basic cable spray painting it gold and then charging thousands of dollars for it. There is material and man hours that also justify the cost of that cable. If you wanna make the argument, there is no sound difference is one thing. the people who spray paint their products golden are soon to be out of business. |
@gkelly --Science is not on your side. If you purchase and hear improvements while using this cable, it's all in your head. Affordability has nothing to do with it. The OP described how data is transmitted and how a cable cannot affect sound quality. I'm sure the cable is a fine piece of craftmanship, but does it sound better than a standard cable--Not a chance. |
