Audio repair shop near Newport or Providence, RI for vintage DCM TF 700s

My third system DCM TF 700s are 35 years old and first the left and now the right speaker suffer from intermittent outages. Doesn’t happen when I connected a different speaker to my vintage NAD receiver. I have the original spring clip speaker terminals, which I know are prone to failure.

While I might try replacing the speaker terminals myself, it makes sense to me to have an expert check the crossover network components before I invest any money in the speakers. If the cost of repairs is excessive I’d have to at least consider replacing them, as much as I’ve enjoyed the pairing.

Can anyone recommend a reputable repair shop near Newport or Providence, RI? I’m trying to avoid having to travel about an hour and a half to the shop in a Boston suburb that repaired the NAD receiver.

Your help is sincerely appreciated

They’re not worth much (while being a good speaker) which might make professional repairs relatively expensive. How about having a go at replacing the terminals? You could even hard wire the cables in and see if that fixes it. That would rule out dry joints or dry caps on the crossover.

That’s the plan. I wanted to speak to someone at a reputable local shop to find out how much it might cost if crossover components needed to be replaced. Replacing the speaker terminals with binding posts is relatively simple and there are even  YouTube videos posted by other owners of the speaker.
