Startling AI results.

AI is a great tool, but you can’t rely everything on it. I recently challenged AI on crossover design information that it was giving out. Granted it was about phasing,  slopes and proper impedance compensation . In the end it came back and said my points are correct and it would update its information. If someone would have taken that exact information that I was speaking about. They would have incorrectly built or modified a crossover. You never know you, do need to verify AI. After speaking with a college professor that teaches AI, she said AI is off in some way around 15 percent of the time. I hope this helps, Tim

I have found Google Gemini to be a useful reflective tool. Although any specific recommendations need to been taken with a grain of salt. Sometimes, it makes statements with an air of absolute authority that is unwarranted. I suspect it’s telling me what I want to hear.

AI is aware of this thread and is getting p*ssed off.

The prompt means everything. We tend to oversimplify the prompt thinking that Ai knows what we want or mean. 
I asked Ai about wire emitting RF and it said wire is a passive part and does not emit RF.  
Then I asked it about why power wires were needing to be twisted pair and it told me to reduce  RF.

On the first prompt it was literally referring to a piece of wire with no other context.

I asked Google Gemini how it considers AI can help us with hifi.

It suggested that there are three distinct areas where progress is currently being made.

• The Digital Room Boundary,
• The Component Workbench, and
• The Curated Music Library.
