What blues are you listening to today?

Blues is by far my favorite and most listened to genre. I don't know how many of us are in here, but I thought a continuing thread of this kind might be of interest. 

I'm listening to Buddy Guy's Sweet Tea. Buddy's covers of Junior Kimbrough,      T-Model Ford, CeDell Davis and the like are awesome. Jimbo Mathus sitting in on rhythm guitar doesn't hurt! 

So what blues are on your system today?

I love Chris Isaak but wouldn’t classify him in the "blues" category.

Thanks for the shout out!  Mark Naftalin hosted a weekly concert/dance in Marin County for several years (late 70s-early 80s?), called Mark Naftalin's Blue Monday Party.  

There were a lot of fine blues musicians in the area in those days, and you might see Ron Thompson, Sonny Rhodes, even Charles Brown sitting in.

Checking out Mick Jagger and the Red Devils Blues Sessions and the Red Devils’ own live album King King. Raw bar blues. Love it.
