Auralic out of business?

Just FYI, I am able to use the Linn music app to play FLAC music on Auralic Vega S1, against an Asset UPnP running on my mini PC.

I also own a Rose HiFi 150B, which serves as a media center in the living room. But from a pure music perspective, Auralia sounds much better than Rose HiFi on my systems with Accuphase amps + Sonus Faber / Harbeth speakers.

Hope the Auralia software can be turned into open source.

Yes, Auralic went out of business. 

Expensive streamers and expensive cables: two product categories I’ve never been impressed by when auditioning. Im not saying they all sound the exact same but it’s usually a lot of money for a small difference. You’re better off spending your money on speakers, room treatment, subwoofers, amplifiers, or even DACs.  

Auralic imploaded. Yes, the tariffs hurt, but that was across the board and didn’t impact Auralic uniquely. That the founder left 9 months before the compared closed its doors is the key- the company was left to flounder.
