Best concert you've attended

Mine is The Doobie Brothers, at the Civic Center in Amarillo Texas, in 1976. I was 16 years old.

The weed smoked all around us was good  too.

@mitch2 - I went to a show at Oakland Stadium in 1975 that was headlined by Robin Trower, with both Peter Frampton and Fleetwood Mac supporting....

I'm going to see if this picture of the Robin Trower page of my concert photo website comes out on here:

I agree, seeing David Bryne is always memorable, he had this ensemble marching all over the stage while playing, at the Beacon once again and she sure can play that guitar. St. Vincent, funny name, anyone know it’s origin?

lousy photos of the stage, but quite enjoyable.

Concert at a Bowling Alley, while people are bowling, you gotta be kidding me.

Sonny Kenn, a NJ Musician tells me he's playing at the Asbury Park Lanes

I say, NFW

"no, come, you won't believe it, it's a blast!

Well, they shut down around  3 lanes, put a stage across, and a movie screen way down where the pins are for those lanes.

Alcohol, the needed ingredient, bowling alley food (better than the Stone Pony), black and white movies, and both Link Wray and his wife and Sonny and his wife, it was a hoot.

@larsman - Very cool picture, Bridge of Sighs days.  I never saw him until years later at the Kalamazoo State Theatre, a very cool smallish venue for concerts.

Hard to pick but memorable shows include Buddy Guy at Tipitina's, Dropkick Murphy's at Iron City, and Billy Strings at the Orion.
